We haven’t long to wait now, to be sprawled out in our living rooms, stuffed with Christmas grub, nodding off to a Bond movie. It feels so close, yet so far, especially on a coffee break while still at work. Well fear not, we have some Christmas crackles for you, delivered by the automotive gift that keeps on giving: the Ferrari F40.
Drive N Slide on YouTube is one of those rare supercar owners who knows what real enthusiasts want him to broadcast. No, not how many other cars are in his collection sat still. No, not how he makes his money. No, not posing around London. He knows we want noise, some spirited driving and wherever possible, some exhaust-sourced fireworks. In the F40, he can certainly deliver it all, with a rear-mounted camera catching the F40’s fire-spitting antics in perfect dusk light. We wonder how much more than the stated 470PS (346kW) the F40 would make if it efficiently burned all its fuel… We don’t want it to but it’s food for thought.
