If the old Rolls-Royce Ghost had a hard time for anything, it was for being a relation to the BMW 7 Series. It still had a pillowy-soft ride, it was still quick enough and it still came with a champagne fridge, but the chassis came from BMW and for many that undermined its luxury status.
Well this is the new Ghost, and Spirit of Ecstacy and umbrella aside, everything is new. The chassis, meanwhile, is the same as that of the Phantom and the Cullinan, so there can be no complaints there. Is the Ghost some had always hoped for, then? Is it truly one of the finest cars in the world?
