Genesis concepts to make European debuts at Festival of Speed | GRR
Genesis is coming back to the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard for 2023 with a bang, or rather, a silent elegant waft, with the European debut of the new GV80 Coupe Concept and the stunning Genesis X Convertible Concept.
The X Convertible Concept will be on display inside Genesis mobile lounge, while its compelling range of production cars including the GV60, electrified G80, electrified GV70 and GV70 SUV will be on the Genesis stand. Among the compelling demonstrations being given will be the GV60’s innovative facial recognition technology, a world-first in production cars.
The GV80 Coupe Concept will be in the First Glance paddock, with the new GV60 and the electrified GV70 EV that will be running on the Hill.
Speaking of world firsts, in celebration of its partnership with the Festival of Speed, Genesis cooked up a world first of its own on the Hill, a good while before the Festival’s gates opened. We of course refer to the Night Hillclimb, with a GV60 taking to the Hill at pace in darkness, with the route lighting powered by a GV70 using its vehicle-to-load capabilities.
