Unleashing them to explore the Bonhams sale at the 80th Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport, tasked with unearthing the oldest, most expensive, most winningest cars in a glorious automotive mashup of bargain hunt and supermarket sweep.
This thorough exercise, which Ben may well have enjoyed a little too much, sees both ‘contestants’ rush around the expanses of the exhibition. Rubbing shoulders with all manner of lottery-win-wishlist four-wheeled wonders. Whether searching around innovative Formula 1 cars to pre-war tourers, modern rally cars, sports and supercars from across the decades, this video is a one-stop shop to get a sense of the scale and range of vehicles that went under the hammer this weekend. With highlights of the sale including the likes of a 1996 Porsche 911 Type 993 Turbo, a 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mk2 Vantage, a 1957 Bentley S1 Continental and a 1913 Hispano-Suiza 3.0-Litre Type 20 ‘Bis’ amongst many, many others.
