[Video] Jumping rally cars will never be boring | GRR
At SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard we welcomed a host of rally cars from throughout the ages and took them on an exciting course through the Motor Circuit. Sadly, writing this a week later, our Super Special stage has long since gone, leaving us hungry for some rally madness. Thankfully we’ve found it with the San Marino RallyLegend.
This video throws us onto the sidelines for the final day of action, with footage from the famous jump on the 'Le Tane' stage, where cars get almost a metre of air. One 1990’s Renault almost saw the landing get the better of it, careening off the bank before teetering along on two wheels.
Also featured is 'The Legend' stage, a short, three-lap circuit in San Marino’s industrial area, which comprises a jump and a handful of 90-degree corners. Watch and enjoy as various machines drift around the course in a cloud of burning rubber. Screaming engines, crunching gears and popping exhausts provide the perfect soundtrack to this rainy Tuesday…
