The Subaru Viziv Tourer concept could preview a WRX STi estate
Is this the first glimpse of a WRX STi estate from Subaru? We fervently hope so.
Badged the Viziv Tourer, it follows the Viziv Performance Concept which was shown in Tokyo last year and heralded the new WRX saloon; a hot STi version followed in January.
The concept has an all-wheel-drive layout powered by a boxer engine of some sort (they won’t say what exactly) and offers “driving performance, practicality and safety”.
The name Viziv apparently comes from “Vision for Innovation”.
The concept carries semi-autonomous and driver fatigue functions that are scheduled for production cars from 2020. Other than that, details are thin on the ground.
