A few weeks ago we were pondering a question: is there such thing as a ‘base’ 911? On paper, of course there is. You normally find the Turbo S and the GT3 RS at the top of the 911 tree, and at the bottom there’s the 911 Carrera. But is a 911 ‘basic’?
Rather than spending many, many days pondering, we thought it would be much better to go out and drive a 911 Carrera, the 3.0-litre, flat-six turbocharged 992 Carrera, and film a nice little video. The car we drove had the number plate ‘A 911’, too – rather fitting, don’t you think?
