For many the RAC TT Celebration is the main event at the Goodwood Revival. Star cars meet star drivers for a two-driver, hour-long battle for glory in a tribute to the original Tourist Trophy heroes.
A monster lineup of Cobras locked out the front row, which soon split to reveal Jaguar E-Types, Porsche 904s, Corvettes and more. All were titans of GT racing in period and of grand touring motoring on the road. Clothing the muscles is finely crafted alloy beauty which in the case of the 2021 running of the TT, caught more abuse than was warranted. The start was chaotic with cars heading off, spinning around and needing restarts. These things are as burly as they are beautiful.
