Video: Jenson Button carves through the field in mighty Cobra
One of the many star drivers at the 2021 Goodwood Revival was 2009 Formula 1 world champion, Jenson Button. This was Jenson’s first real taste of proper historic racing so it was as big a moment for him as it was for us.
Self-admittedly, he didn’t get the best of starts in the RAC TT Celebration, driving the bright blue Cobra fielded by DK Engineering. Something to do with the grid being so loud, he couldn’t hear his own car… He soon recovered though, making some mighty passes, getting right back on top of the Cobra and dancing it around the Motor Circuit. A fabulous drive for a first time out – he’s welcome back any time.
