The sound of a flat-six Porsche 911 RSR is a pretty magnificent thing. So the sound of two flat-six-engined Porsche 911 RSRs echoing from the banking of Daytona at the same time... just magnificent.
And so we join the battle for the RS Trophy at the Classic 24 over at Daytona. It's a race just for Porsche 911s, and so assembles a fleet of incredible-sounding racing cars ready to race. Boy do they race, and here in the middle of the night during the build up to this year's 24, the Porsches ding dong battle is illuminated only by the Daytona International Speedway's incredible lighting system.
While this might not be the dead of night screaming down the Mulsanne, the removal of most of the ambient lighting only serves to intensify the sound. So just sit back and enjoy.
