Restomod, it's a compound word created from restoration and modify. It pretty much sums up what it is, a car that has been taken in whatever state it was found and restored to perfect condition while also modified to be, at least in the eyes of those doing it, better.
Obviously not every restomod is perfect and not evey attempt actually makes a "better" car than where it all started. But there are a handful of restomods out there that have done exactly their purpose, and created a car almost other-wordly. These are cars created by companies like Singer, Eagle, Mechatronik, cars that manage to keep their original desirability and build on it, to become either a modern version of the original vision or an elevated version.
