With the announcement of next year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard dates, this feels like an appropriate video to be sharing for elevenses. Behold, as a bunch of simply delicious-sounding supercars get their drivelines and tyres utterly abused.
In the debate of mid-engined Ferrari Berlinettas, ours is a controversial view: the sound peaked with the 360 Challenge Stradale. Compare it and the 458 Speciale, which most consider the best-sounding V8 Ferrari. Then we have the howling sounds of a 599 GTO, 812 GTS and various Porsche GT3s to compliment, while some of the more modern turbocharged machinery show off their incredible if not so sonically stimulating performance. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, Ferrari SF90, Ferrari 296, Ferrari F8 and more, all lay down their performance for a hard acceleration run. Roll on FOS 2023.
