With the mercury hitting 21 degrees at 9am as the Goodwood Motor Circuit grid filled with Ferraris and Lamborghinis, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were enjoying a stroll along the Amalfi Coast. But when we’ve got this many stunning examples of Italian engineering on show, why bother with the travel?
Luxury supercars don’t come much more glamorous than the likes of the household names associated with Italian manufacturing, and sat under a clear blue sky, the glamour of Breakfast Club was rising as quickly as the temperature.
From Aventadors and Diablos, to 488s and Lusso Ferraris there was no shortage of iconic supercars on display, but one announced its arrival before we could even put eyes on it.
The stunning Ferrari F50 with its growling 4.7 litre V12 powered engine sounded resplendent as it made its way under the Goodwood Motor Circuit tunnel, barking its arrival with instant authority. A car that appears lightening quick even at a standstill, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better example of what a super car should look and sound like.
