Now that the dust has settled on the 20th anniversary Goodwood Revival, and the paddocks are empty; the Goodwood digital team has been busy processing all the great content captured over the weekend. Some of it you will have already seen, some of it you definitely won’t have.
The post-event, exclusive content for GRRC Members and those that are part of the Fellowship is divided into three main parts: the full races, the onboard cameras and the full days of live stream.
So far on the exclusive area of Goodwood.com/grrc is the Kinrara, Barry Sheene Memorial part 1, St. Mary’s part 1, Goodwood, Jack Sears Memorial, Whitsun and Fordwater Trophies. All of these can be watched in full: look out for Niklas Halusa and Emanuele Pirro’s wonderful drive in the Kinrara, and Troy Corser trying to tame the 1934 BMW Compressor – without any rear suspension(!) – in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy. Next to appear will be the RAC Tourist Trophy, Freddie March Memorial, Richmond & Gordon, Glover and Sussex Trophies as well as the Chichester Cup for rear-engined, disc-braked Formula Juniors.
The onboard cameras are all placed in suitable cars by the digital team on event and the hours and hours of footage is distilled into the best onboards after the dust has settled. You may well have seen Andrew Jordan fighting through the pack to a podium finish from the back of the grid in the first part of the St. Mary’s Trophy – but there is so much more to watch with up to fifteen cameras per race. All the onboard footage for the Kinrara, Fordwater, St. Mary’s, Jack Sears Memorial and Whitsun Trophies, with the rest being uploaded in the next week.
As darkness arrives earlier every day, and the weather slowly turns to rain after the autumn sunshine of the Revival weekend, what better way to while away the hours that to catch all the footage you missed on September 7th-9th?
