Imola, or to give it its proper name, the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, is a terrifying track in the dry, with a fast, anticlockwise flow and 17 perilous turns. And things get even sketchier in the wet, with the slick surface often catching drivers unawares and sending them sideways. Sounds scary, doesn’t it?

The rain, however, did not stop play for Jèrèmy Lancksweert of the Gipimotor team, who took to the wheel of a 1982 Ferrari 512 BB LM during the 2018 Imola Classic.
As you can see, it takes some bravery to hustle a car in the rain at Imola, even more so with a car like the 512 BB LM with its 5.0-litre, 180-degree V12 screaming in happiness. With 460hp and 450Nm of torque, the Ferrari is a force to be reckoned with, and it proves its prowess in a two-and-a-half minute game of cat and mouse with a Porsche 935 K3.
Bravo Jèrèmy. You’re braver than we are.
