There are 935s, 963s, 962s, 944s, 914s, you name it at the seventh Rennsport Reunion, but at the end of the day, no matter which way you put it only three digits are the king of Porsche events – 911.

It's 60 years old this year, and that's one of the key components to Porsche's decision to celebrate not just the Rennsport Reunion this year, but also in joining in as the central featured marque at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard.
Other cars might perhaps seem cooler, rarer, or in somecases even more interesting, but the weight of 911s produced in history means any Porsche event will alway have a single dominant feature.
And the thing to remember is that not all 911s are the same. Such versatility is rare in any field, but the 911 has been an off roader, a GT star, a Le Mans winner and a touring car. It's the kind of car that captures hearts and will continue to do so for decades to come.
