It should come as no surprise that the seventh Rennsport Reunion is a haven for everyone who has a Weissach pack on their heart. This is Porsche lovers’ Nirvana, the Garden of Eden for everyone who dreams in three-digit sportscars. The paddocks distil that essence of Porsche into a heady, almost impossible to comprehend mix.

From road legends – there are at least five Porsche 959s here – to the icons of the track there’s nowhere you can look at Laguna Seca this week and not be swept up with the sheer love of everything Stuttgart that exudes from all around.
