A week ago, we enjoyed the spectacle of Chris Harris driving Tuthill Porsche’s RGT spec 911 Cup car around a Welsh forest. It got us thinking, as was the intention, about 911s and other GT cars in rallying – and that’s only going to lead to one thing: a YouTube session looking for just that.
And here’s what we found: a great clip of Ruben Zeltner taking on the German Rally Championship (or Deutscher Rallye Meister) in his Porsche 911 GT3 RS. And he wasn’t just taking it on, he was on his way to winning the 2014 title. Varying weather conditions and surfaces suggest that this is a compilation of clips from throughout the season and, just with Tuthill’s WRC car, the 911 is great to watch.
Will the image of a 911 kicking up dust on a rally stage ever get old? We don’t think so…
