Another year, another GRRC Spring Sprint. The Members' Meeting trucks are barely clear of the estate but with MM comes the start of the motorsport season here at Goodwood – no rest for the wicked.

So in spite of the rain this Bank Holiday Monday, the hoards of competitors have descended on the Motor Circuit for a run out on track. From modern McLaren supercars to pre-war Bugattis – open cockpit sportscars to Audi RS6 super wagons. A bit of drizzle hadn't much of a chance of dampening everyone's spirits, as preparers and owners alike tinker with their toys in the paddocks in the hope of eeking out that extra millisecond come Sprint time.
