Such was the case with the owner of this Corvette. Being engrossed in motoring from a very early age could only lead to pain in the future for his finances. Once you get the smell of vintage leather and inefficiently burnt fuel in your nostrils, it’s difficult to get it out. Mathieu Houtreille was hooked after taking a ride, feeling the speed and hearing the crackle of backfire as the owner rolled off the throttle. Evidently a superb sales tactic but at the end of the day, Mathieu was never not going to own a classic Corvette at some point.
