Although no photographs of DBA’s new Grand Tourer have been revealed as yet, the Silverstone-based company has confirmed that this new model will be ‘classically inspired’ to reflect both Speedback GT, plus its more recent Mini Remastered models, but with a more aggressive design language.
DBA says that with its commitment to bespoke British handcraftsmanship, its new, limited-production GT will capture the firm’s vision of a high-performance classic Grand Tourer, so perhaps we can all look forward to a modern-take on a classic British GT, such as a Bentley Continental R-Type, Bristol 411, Alvis TD21, Gordon Keeble GK1, or even a classic Touring of Milan-bodied Aston Martin itself.
Speaking of this imminent new GT, David Brown, company founder and CEO, said “This is something that we¹ve been looking forward to doing since launching Speedback GT and I can¹t wait to reveal more. “With its unprecedented levels of performance, this vehicle allows the David Brown Automotive brand to appeal to our existing customers and new customers alike. He adds “The car brings yet another exciting opportunity for our company.”
