Well hello there, P1 LM, it’s been a while. Indeed not since FOS 2016 have we seen the hill record-breaking machine in the flesh, but at Breakfast Club Supercar Sunday (May 7th), Lanzante wheeled her out to wow the crowds at Goodwood.

And wow the crowds it did. There’s a debate to be had here, but alongside the cohort of F40s that were lighting up the grid, the P1 LM was the star of the show.
Take a look through the gallery above as, even with the crowds bearing down, this thing’s presence is impossible to ignore.
Prepared by Lanzante (the only company officially sanctioned by McLaren to convert P1 GTRs for road use), this circa 1,000bhp animal is a further evolution of McLaren’s already monstrous track-only range-topper.
To match the power, the LM has meatier aero to keep it all in check, but, in spite of the motorsporting addenda, is a fully road-legal machine in the UK – it took proud and convincing place at FOS as the fastest road-legal car ever to go up the hill. See the awesome on board video above, and the savage external of the run here.
