Gallery: The best of sportscar beauties at 2017's Revival

25th September 2017
Ethan Jupp

No matter your sportscar persuasion there was something long, fast and curvaceous for everyone at this year’s Goodwood Revival.

Whether you take them open-topped, closed cockpit, mid-engined, front-engined, British, Italian, American or vaguely Scottish in flavour – all were out in force.

If you prefer your sportscars with a dash of Le Mans-winning pedigree then you were well-catered for with D-types, TWO Ferrari 250 LMs and plenty of muscle-bound GT40s getting squirrelly on track.

If serious Goodwood history is more to your taste, then the original 9 hours-winning DB3S “Dark Star” of the Sussex Trophy might cut it. Perhaps you’d prefer some open-air V8 fury in the form of a Lola T70?

What’s your pick of the litter? For us, you can't beat a 250 SWB for a seamless blend of pace, prettiness and delicious V12 music.
