The Hailwood Trophy at the just-gone 75th Members’ Meeting featured a grid of smoggy, shrieking, temperamental two-stroke two-wheeled GP weapons duking it out on the Motor Circuit.

The 250 and 350CC rippers let out an almighty collective cloud on the off. Mike Edwards worked his magic, pulling a massive lead on the pursuing Nigel Palmer, Michael Russell and Glen English – the latter finishing over a minute later! Mike Hawthorne’s Yamaha met an unfortunate end, just one lap before the race’s conclusion. You can catch the action in the full race video above.
