Gallery: 78MM testing is underway!
It's that wonderful time of the year, no not Christmas, more the moment that racing cars return to the Goodwood Motor Circuit, filling the air with the sounds of combustion and filling our souls with excitement that the 78th Goodwood Members' Meeting is almost here!
It was a little bit wet at Goodwood today, in fact when hasn't it been wet in the UK recently? But that doesn't stop real historic racers getting their tyres warm. So rather than just moaning that the rain was continuing, we got out to see who was braving the elements. And we were rewarded with some proper Members' Meeting staples. Peruse the gallery here and you'll find the likes of Rover SD1 and Ford Capri (Gerry Marshall Trophy), Ford Mustang (Pierpoint Cup) and TVR Griffith (Graham Hill Trophy), all getting those first few Goodwood laps of the year under their race suit. It perhaps wasn't an ideal day, but given that we released the timetable recently, it was the perfect time to start preparing for the event – which is now a matter of weeks away.
It begs the question, which of the races are you most looking forward to at 78MM?
