None of these drivers is going slowly, far from it, but this is one of those fantastic onboard battles where grip is limited and everyone is doing their best with what they’ve got. And what they’ve got are two Lister Jaguars and a Lotus 15. Let battle commence.

This brilliant battle comes from a drying Silverstone, and we’re riding onboard with Richard Bradley in an ex-Graham Hill Lotus 15 as he fights with the Listers of Rob Smith and Gary Pearson. Off the line Smith and Pearson give each other a squeeze, giving Bradley a chance to catch up, but immediately he faces understeer and just cannot get the nose tucked in to the corner. From there on it’s a proper scrap for a lap and a half, the trio dancing over the damp tarmac desperately searching for grip.
