Czinger unveils 3D‑printed HyperGT

Like the Gemera, it’s a four-seat, two-door supercar, designed using Czinger’s famed proprietary human-AI design, with influences from the 21C and new 21C V Max carried over. Of course, Czinger’s revolutionary, sustainable and versatile additive manufacturing techniques carry over too.

This is an aggressive and thoroughly modern-looking machine but with some classical elegance hard-baked in. It’s technical but unfussy and far more subtle than its 21C hypercar sibling. The nose could even be said to be somewhat Germanic, albeit with a highly distinctive LED lighting signature, while as above, that rear-end carries Czinger’s signature 3D-printed latticework look. Overall, we could almost call this a modern successor to the swooping and elegant, long-extinct machines from Monteverdi.

Though there’s not an awful lot of detail, Czinger has revealed the Hyper GT uses a hybrid and not an all-electric powertrain. Judging by the proportions, unlike the Gemera, the combustion engine is ahead of the cabin. There are equally slim details on the underpinnings, though it’s claimed ‘the chassis structure of the Hyper GT is optimized for ultimate GT power to weight’. Like the Gemera too, conventional doors simply won’t do, with the Hyper GT employing a Gullwing setup.

More details are yet to come on the Hyper GT, with the design not yet finalised according to the Californian marque. Next up is getting 21Cs to customers, with deliveries set to begin in late 2023.
