Video: Tesla vs. Alpine passes
Lockdown again, and we’re back to living vicariously through YouTube onboards. There are worse things to do, right? And today we’ve stumbled upon almost an hour of glorious Austrian mountainside, with beautiful blue skies and not a drop of rain in sight – the antithesis of our current reality.
In a more relaxed onboard than we would normally bring you, climb aboard the super smooth and silent Tesla Model 3 Performance and watch as the car climbs the snaking Zillertaler Höhenstraße, through the forest of the Tuxer Alpen in Austria’s western state of Tyrol. Enjoy the vibrant colours and brilliant views along the 48km road, which climbs from 550m to 2,020m above sea level. It’s no wonder that this road, which was built in 1963, is known as one of the most beautiful in Austria.
