INTRODUCING THE NEW DEFENDER 90 & 110
The 11th Duke of Richmond gave Land Rover the privilege of launching the 2019 Festival of Speed with a camouflaged prototype of the Defender 110. This year, the camo is off, and our most durable Land Rover to date will appear in the First Glance run alongside the compact Defender 90. In addition, Dermot O’Leary will be put through his paces in a Defender 110 during a technically challenging off-road course as part of a special presenter challenge. LAND ROVER CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF THE RANGE ROVER SUV
Range Rover is described as the world’s original luxury SUV and even now, it’s hard to find a vehicle whose desirability remains as unrivalled. June 17th marked 50 years since the debut of the original 1970 two-door Range Rover. And now in its fourth generation, with over a million sold in its lifetime, its sophisticated design and class-leading capability continues to define its enduring appeal. To celebrate this unique milestone, Land Rover commissioned the Range Rover Fifty, a special edition model and at SpeedWeek, 50 Range Rovers from across the decades will take to the Goodwood Circuit to mark half a century of innovation. Look out for incredible examples of all four generations of Range Rover including; the bare drivable chassis, 6x6 version, both Darien Gap Range Rovers, a P38a Linley and the recently announced special edition Range Rover Fifty.
