Video: 78th Members’ Meeting Saturday full highlights

We weren’t sure where to look for our compilation of highlights for the Saturday at the Members’ Meeting. It would almost end up being a full day replay. Nevertheless, we’ve had to be picky, so here is 18 minutes of highlights.

Included are many moments from the wet morning practice sessions, with pre-war, ‘60s and ‘80s touring cars getting sideways in the rain. We’ve got Bruno Senna exploring the vocal range of the incredible V12-powered McLaren MP4-6 that Ayrton drove to his third championship 30 years ago. We’ve also got the incredible new V12 hypercar by Gordon Murray Automotive that revs very nearly as high as Ayrton’s championship winner. No, really. The 12,100rpm of the GMA T.50 plays 13,500rpm in the MP4-6. What a time to be in the market for multi-million-pound cars...
