Formula 1 is returning to Las Vegas next year for the first time in more than 40 years, and here we’ve been given our first prospective peek at what the new circuit layout will look like. It’s due to incorporate a section the picturesque Las Vegas Strip and while this video game creation doesn’t look entirely true to the latest plans, it does at least give us an idea of what to expect from next year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Notable elements include the mile-long straight (with a kink in the middle) that will bypass some of the city’s famous landmarks, including Caesar’s Palace. There is also a Singapore Sling-esque section that will drivers flick left, right and then left again at high speed.
This computerised preview is a long way from what we expect the actual circuit and its surroundings to look like, but we can’t help but be intrigued by what F1’s latest addition to the calendar is going to bring the table in terms of racing and spectacle.
