It has been a while since we featured a Lotus in our elevenses, so we thought we’d treat you on this fine Thursday morning. But it’s not just any old Lotus, mind. This Team Santilli-tuned Exige S is one of the fastest cars of the Italian Time Attack Championship. And with more than 500 horsepower on tap, thanks to a TVS190 supercharger in its Toyota 3.5-litre V6 engine, it’s no wonder!

A veteran to the series, the model has seen numerous updates and improvements over the years. This video, courtesy of professional car spotter 19Bozzy92, shows it in its latest form, complete with a widebody kit, sequential gearbox with flappy paddles and countless other modifications.
