On paper there are still plenty of things we don’t know about the FL5 Type R, like how much power or torque it has, what its 0-62mph time is or how fast it’ll go flat-out. But we do know it has a 2.0-litre turbocharged VTEC engine, it still has a six-speed manual gearbox and it remains front-wheel-drive. But there’s more to getting to know a car than looking at the spec sheet – you need to get up close and personal with it, so that’s exactly what we did.
