While many supercars have their routes firmly based in the glorious and purposeful single-mindedness of motorsport, some appeal to wanton decadence, hedonism and desire and the rest combine the two.

At Breakfast Club Soft Top Sunday, the supercars on show were the finest examples of the latter. Ferrari F430 Scuderia 16Ms, 360 Spiders, 458 Spiders, Aston Martin Roadsters and Volantes and McLaren Spiders were lead by a late-arrival Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster, and a glorious Ferrari Daytona Spider. Meanwhile on the quirky end of the supercar scale, a VUHL, an Elemental RP1 and several track-ready Ariels juxtaposed the svelte Italians gloriously. Take a look at them all in the gallery above.
