Festival of Speed goers had the very first chance to see the super-exclusive Aston Martin Vulcan in action. Works racing driver Darren Turner was on driving duty, smoking the tyres away from the startline and stopping for another burnout before a flame-spitting cruise across the finishing line.
The Vulcan is Aston Martin’s answer to the likes of the Ferrari XX cars and McLaren P1 GTR – a track-only car with factory back-up for owners. With only 24 due to be made (to celebrate Aston Martin’s involvement in the Le Mans 24-hour), it will be even more exclusive than the One77.
