Video: Unrestricted Ferrari 499P Modificata looks stunning on Goodwood Hill

This latest era of WEC sportscars are truly stunning, aren’t they? The Ferrari 499P that has now won the Le Mans 24 Hours twice in 2023 and 2024, is surely up there as the best looking of all, not least because of its gorgeous red livery.

So enamoured is Ferrari with its history-making hypercar that it has developed the 499P Modificata, a car which they are selling to select customers as the ultimate track day car.

It makes use of the same chassis, powertrain, and bodywork as the racing 499P, but the Modificata does not need to conform to the same hypercar regulations. The result is a car with more substantially more power, up to 870PS (640kW) with push to pass engaged.

We saw it in action at the Festival of Speed, and immediately fell in love all over again with the 499P’s looks. That sleek bodywork is just to die for, but we can only imagine how special it must feel to drive.

Imagine being able to say you own a car that for all intents and purposes is capable of winning the Le Mans 24 Hours…

The 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed is underway, and you can watch every moment of the action on our live stream right here on GRR!
