1981 Monte Carlo winner Jean Ragnotti pulled out his favourite FoS trick at the wheel of the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo. As he passed the House, a quick yank of the handbrake (or the lever of fever as GRR contributor Henry Hope-Frost may have it) puts the car into a neat 360 degree spin – all within the confines of the narrow ribbon of Goodwood tarmac. He repeated the trick twice more on the way up the hill, much to the delight of the crowd.
