Audi has unveiled its R8 Spyder V10 Plus at the Festival of Speed. Stephan Winkelmann, Managing Director of Audi Sport and former CEO of Lamborghini, pulled the wraps off the car on Audi's stand in front of an audience including multiple Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen and Lord March.

The Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus is Audi's fastest convertible ever, with a 0-62mph time of 3.3 seconds and top-speed of 203mph. The naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine develops 601bhp and 413ib ft of torque and is mated to Audi's seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
Audi Sport, nominally in charge of the R8 and RS models, also managing's Audi's customer racing division, Audi Exclusive – the bespoke team who will match your paint or create your special seats – and Audi Collection, the accessories and lifestyle section of the marque.
Winkelman announced four more Audi Sport models to come between now and 2020 at Goodwood today, with two more unveils this year.

Visitors to Audi's stand at FOS this weekend can also set eyes on the stunning orange Q8 concept for the first time in the UK. Tis flagship SUV will be on sale next year. The powertrain consists of a 3.0-litre V6 and electronic compressor to boost power.
Audi are calling it a mild hybrid, with a total of 470bhp, a 0-62mph time of 4.7 seconds and a possible range of 745 miles. With four seats and a sleek sporting profile, it's venturing into the luxury SUV domain occupied by sister brand Bentley with its Bentayga.
