We’ve written before about the ugliest racing cars of all time. Racing cars don’t have to be beautiful, of course, being built for speed and speed alone, but some really have been beaten with the ugly stick. Conversely, some racers are truly beautiful, and if you were looking for a handful of cars to label as such then a very good place to start would be the grid of the 2003 Revival’s Fordwater Trophy.

Being endurance sports and GT cars, built between 1960 and 1966, they were crafted without a thought for downforce. The result were some svelt, sleek designs that are absolutely beautiful. There were Alfa Romeo TZ1 and TZ2s, Porsche 904s, Alfa Giulia Sprints and so many more clean, classic racing cars. Have you ever seen a prettier grid?
