Video: SpeedWeek S.F. Edge Trophy Part 1 full race

These shed-built specials with aircraft heart transplants and DIY bodywork have been a staple at Goodwood since 75MM. We love them so much, SpeedWeek featured a two-part race of five-lap sprints for a double dose of Edwardian action in place of the usual 20-minute enduro. You can watch Part 1 in full now, which saw us get our first dose of S.F. Edge heroics since the 77^th Members’ Meeting at the beginning of last year, over 18 months ago.

The race never fails to amaze, as drivers slingshot from the line to the clatter of their monstrous hundred-year-old engines leaving a smog of Castrol R. It’s not just the cars, either. S.F. Edge Part 1 featured some of the best racing, place-trading and daring driving of the entire event. What a way to start the racing at SpeedWeek.
