Some of the fastest cars that we have racing here at Goodwood took to the track for the Gurney Cup. Yes, it was the big banger sports prototypes with Ford GT40s battling Lotuses, Elvas, McLarens and more.

In spite of the clear autumnal sunshine it was a tumultuous race with slides, spins and a safety car. In spite of that we had some spectacular battles, as the Sussex hills were filled with rapturous V8 noise.
