So the 75th Members’ Meeting was over two months ago now! Let that sink in. Not that the memories are fading, but we reckon the video below might serve as a sharp reminder, encapsulating what was so awesome about 75MM.
Flat-out in historic touring cars around Goodwood – it could only be the Gerry Marshall Trophy! In this case, from the viewpoint of non other than Goodwood Motor Circuit lap record-holder Nick Padmore, in his sonorous BMW 530i. If you can see past the utterly glorious and unmistakable thrum and thrash of the highly-strung BMW straight-six, you’ll note Nick is making short work of much of the grid. An amazing recovery from a somewhat fudged start, just the 14 overtakes in three laps there Nick!
