Video: Wild onboard first lap of Goodwood
Rainer Becker is a regular Porsche owner and wheelman at Goodwood, arriving soon to the 80th Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport with his Porsche 993 GT2 Evo and 911 3.0 RSR for our Porsche demo celebrating 60 years of the 911.
Last year however he was out racing in, you guessed it, a Porsche. In this case a delicious 550 Spyder, racing mid-pack in the Robert Brooks Trophy for ‘50s sportscars. Ride on board with Rainer for a wild ride around Goodwood at 79MM, battling Lotuses, Coopers and more for track position. Becker dances the 550, exploiting its inherent balance and light weight to skim round the undulating circuit, manipulating its momentum with that gorgeous three-spoke wheel.
