Video: 60 Years of Formula 1 cars celebrated at FOS 2010
It certainly doesn’t seem like a decade since we were last celebrating a significant Formula 1 anniversary at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. Time flies when you’re watching fun cars fly past we suppose.
No commentary on this video, just the sights and sounds of McLarens, Lotuses, Ferraris, Williams and a few real rarities roaring up the Goodwood Hill. It really is a potted history of the pinnacle of open wheeled motorsport with all the important technological and engineering advances on show. And the drivers aren’t shy of standing on the loud pedal, letting the V6s, V8s, V10s and V12s rip.
Our favourite? That’s a tricky one but we think the Tyrell six-wheeler just takes it for being something truly different.
