Lewis Hamilton (right now anyway) has seven F1 World Drivers’ Championships and 103 race wins under his belt. It’s hard to believe that anyone could fit 103 Formula 1 Grand Prix wins into a career, but then it seemed improbable when Michael Schumacher passed 90. Hamilton is, statistically at least, the most successful F1 driver of all time.
Video: Lewis Hamilton’s seven best F1 wins
So how do you pick out his greatest wins from such a massive list? Well, for a start when you win that many races, you’re often in the best car and out front. So a lot of those wins are “keep car going, get to finish, drink champagne”. That narrows the selection down quite a lot.
But then there’s still a good number of outstanding performances that we all remember. So slimming it down was never easy. The ones we have picked out may well not be yours, so add what you would recommend into the comments.
Our picks include that bonkers wet-to-dry-but-on-wet-tyres win at the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix, his first British Grand Prix win in 2008 and something from last season. We hope you enjoy.
