This weekend the F1 world championship will come to an end and two of the greatest F1 drivers of the modern era, if not of all time, will go head-to-head for the championship. It has been one of the best title battles for many a decade, and the first to come down to the wire since 2016. It’s also only the second time two championship rivals have been tied going into the final race of the season, the last being Emerson Fittipaldi and Clay Regazzoni in 1974. But it’s far from the first time we’ve had a dramatic finale, as a quick look at F1 history tells us. These are the best title-deciding races ever, and they aren’t all the final race.
