We are lucky to watch a lot of champions race at Revival from all corners of the globe and many different formulas. Not many have made the switch to full-time historic racing however and very few are as familiar a sight in the paddocks as 2013 BTCC champion Andrew Jordan, often accompanied by his father Mike.

It was Mike who was the first racer in the family, starting with a Morris Minor before moving on to a very successful stint in Porsche 911s. Andrew cut his teeth in junior Rallycross racing a Mini before seeing success in BTCC. All of which made for a very sound basis for the work of Jordan Racing Team that now prepares and races around 50 cars for themselves and customers.
The lovely line-up of cars in their works near Tamworth when we went to visit included everything from a very orange Mini saloon car racer to a stars and stripes-liveried Porsche 911 GT3 and a gorgeous Shelby Daytona coupe.
