Lime Rock Park, the third-oldest American road racing venue, is a very fast track. Maintaining optimum momentum and grip around the long, sweeping curves and challenging undulating sections requires the utmost concentration and accuracy. Here, we sit onboard with the great Derek Bell, who guides us around a few quick laps in a snarling Jägermeister Porsche 962.

Bell, who secured two of his five Le Mans 24 Hour victories in a 962, is more than comfortable pushing through traffic, gradually picking up speed to a blistering pace. Smooth throttle and steering input, more than a spoonful of bravery and a whole lot of experience are on full display through the long opening turns of Big Bend, Right Hander and Left Hander. The Uphill dash is punctuated with a small but technical chicane kink in this layout, which does little to slow Bell up for the final two fast rights: West Bend and Downhill. Needless to say, this a must see for those who need a little something to get the adrenaline pumping!
