We’re knocking on the doors of August, which for us can only mean one thing: we’ve traded our soft rural Goodwood surroundings for the British motorsport epicentre that is Silverstone for the annual Silverstone Classic!

We’re not wasting any time either as our crack snapper has been out shooting in the calm of the paddocks before everything really gets under way. What better to get us in the mood on our morning stroll toward the media centre than a lovely assemblage of Jaguar XJ220s – a part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the seminal ‘90s hypercar. The usual smattering of E-Types, various Lola sportscars and Cobras sitting pretty and being fettled by their loving preparers finished us off: we emerged stoked and ready to face the event.
