Video: How to race a classic Porsche 911 at Monza with Andrew Jordan

We’re sure sharing a lot of Porsche 911 goodness with you at the moment. It’s not for any particular reason, there’s just so damned much of it to bring you, and it’s all excellent. But rather than yet more awesome 911 racing action, how about a bit more information about what all these cars are like to prepare and race?

We happened to bump into our old friend, and official Goodwood track tester, Andrew Jordan at the Monza Historic last year. There he was racing a beautifully prepared 2.0-litre Porsche 911 in Peter Auto’s marvellous 2.0-litre cup series alongside Mark Sumpter.

While he was between sessions we got AJ to chat us through exactly how you prepare a classic 911, and then a quick guide to how you attack the mighty parkland of Monza in said car. It’s pretty fascinating stuff.
